SANTIAGO BESSAI

I’m a filmmaker based in Vancouver, Canada. I work across documentary, narrative, and commercial projects. My inspiration comes mainly from my experience of the natural world in the era of climate change and techno-industrial capitalism. I seek to capture a changing environment through the experience of individuals and their stories. Through filmmaking I aim to consider how humans inhabit and intensify systems of extraction that, together, comprise the anthropocene.
